Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026

The Little Things AI Inc. (“we”, “us”) makes *TKEI. *TKEI turns an architect’s model or plan set into a true-to-scale home that people can walk through before it is built. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers our website (tkei.ai), the web viewer (view.tkei.ai), the client portal (home.tkei.ai), the *TKEI apps for Apple Vision Pro and iPad, and the design reviews we host.

The short version

  • When you walk a design in a *TKEI headset, the review is recorded: where you go and which way you face (about 30 times a second), what is said, and the notes and decisions that come up. We ask for your agreement before a review we host, and the headset shows a red dot while it records.
  • We use recordings to give you and your project team a record of the review, to improve *TKEI and, where you agreed, to train *TKEI’s AI models. We remove names before training, and we don’t reuse your building’s design.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.
  • You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time: email info@tkei.ai.

1. Information we collect

Account and project details

When you, or your architect, builder or housing organization, set up a project, we collect your name, email address and phone number, your role on the project and the property address. You may add your height, which we use only to set the viewer to your eye level. You sign in to the portal with an emailed link or with Google, and to a headset with a one-time code from the portal. We record when you last signed in.

Files you upload to the portal

Plans, models and project documents (PDF), such as contracts, permits, invoices, insurance and correspondence. They can contain financial or personal details; we use them only to provide the service (section 3).

Design review recordings

When you walk a design in a *TKEI headset, the app records:

  • Movement: your head position and facing direction inside the model, about 30 times a second, and the room you are nearest.
  • Voice: audio from the headset microphone and a text transcript of it, including voice commands. The microphone can pick up other people talking in the room.
  • Activity: which model and rooms you opened, and notes or decisions made during the review.
  • Pictures: photos and screen captures of the model that you choose to take. They show the model, not your surroundings.
  • Device: your account, the app and operating system versions, an identifier for the app installation, and a technical log of the session.

From a recording we may also make a “journey” map of the route you walked and a rendered video of the walkthrough, with captions, showing the model. The headset’s cameras, hand tracking and room sensing are used live to run the experience and are not saved.

Notes and comments

Text you pin to a spot in the model, with a picture of that view and your name.

Website and portal

  • Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how people use it. It has no advertising tags.
  • We use Google Calendar to book calls and Vimeo to show videos.
  • The portal uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect sign-in.
  • The web viewer uses no analytics or advertising cookies.

Messages

Emails you send us, and the emails we send you: sign-in links, notifications and review reports.

We don’t collect your device’s GPS location.

2. How we collect it

  • From you: when you sign up, upload files, add notes, walk a design or contact us.
  • From your project team: an architect, builder or housing organization may add you to a project and give us your name, email and property address.
  • Automatically: from the headset during a review, and from your browser on our website.

3. How we use it

  • To provide *TKEI: to build and show your digital home, run design reviews, give you and your project team the record of each review (transcript, journey, video and action items) and keep your project documents organized.
  • To summarize and organize, using AI: to turn what is said in a review into decisions, questions and to-dos pinned to where they came up, and to file uploaded documents with a title, date and summary. We remove card, bank, Social Security and tax ID numbers from the summaries we store.
  • To communicate: sign-in links, notifications, reports and replies to you.
  • To improve *TKEI and train its AI models, only with recordings of people who agreed to it: to study how people move through and respond to designs, and to develop models that predict where people will go, stop or have trouble in a space that hasn’t been built. We remove names before training, we don’t reuse your building’s design, and we use de-identified or combined data wherever we can.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
  • Before a design review we host, we ask each person to agree to recording, on our iPad or in the client portal. The agreement explains what is recorded and how it is used. You can read it at any time in the portal.
  • The headset records every review from the moment you enter a design, and shows a red dot while it records.
  • If you don’t want to be recorded, don’t wear the headset for the review, or take it off at any time: the microphone stops as soon as it comes off. Tell us before the review and we will show you the design another way, such as the web viewer.
  • You can withdraw your agreement at any time by emailing info@tkei.ai. We will stop using your recordings to improve *TKEI and delete them within 45 days. Copies already released to your project team, or already de-identified, may remain.

5. How we share it

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only as follows.

Your project team

People on your project see the review records released to the project: the architect, builder, housing organization and anyone else you or they invite.

Legal, safety and business transfers

We may share information when the law requires it, to protect rights, property or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under the protections of this policy.

6. How long we keep it

  • We keep account information while your account is active.
  • We keep project records (review recordings, transcripts, journeys, videos, decisions and documents) for as long as the project needs them, because they are part of the building’s record.
  • A copy of a review recording is also kept on the headset used for the review.
  • Website analytics are kept according to our Google Analytics settings.
  • When you ask us to delete information, we delete it within 45 days unless the law requires us to keep it.

We are setting fixed retention periods and will publish them here when they take effect.

7. How we protect it

  • Recordings and uploaded documents are stored privately. Opening one requires signing in, is checked against your project, and uses a link that expires within minutes.
  • The 3D models we publish for a project, their preview images and project names are kept at unlisted web addresses so that the *TKEI apps can load them. Anyone who has one of those addresses can open it.
  • Information is encrypted in transit.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who on our team can access it.

8. Children

  • *TKEI is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
  • Families sometimes walk a design together. A child may use the headset only with a parent or guardian present who agrees for them.
  • If you believe we have a child’s information without that consent, email info@tkei.ai and we will delete it.

9. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • send you a copy of it in a portable form.

California residents also have the right to know what we collect, use and disclose; to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do neither); to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only to provide the service); and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.

To make a request, email info@tkei.ai. We’ll verify your identity, usually by confirming your email address, and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.

You can also delete your own notes in the portal, and turn off the headset microphone in visionOS settings; the review then won’t include your voice.

10. Where we process information

We are based in the United States and store information in the United States, mainly in US West. If you use *TKEI from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. For significant changes, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
